If you create organic content to market your business, you may question which piece of content is your highest converting to help you create high-converting content. However, if you are creating content outside of your website, it may seem impossible to answer this question. Therefore, many times we turn to views, likes, and shares to determine what content is performing well.

Unfortunately, a well-viewed piece of content doesn’t always mean the viewers are entering your business funnels. If you only follow the view, you can create content that is not helping you attract clients and customers. However, there is a better way! Using Google Analytics, you can track what specific pieces of content are directing people to your website and leading to opt-in conversions or purchases. In this article, I will show you how to set up your data collection to be able to track specific content pieces and use Google Analytics to easily find your high-converting content.

Set Up Data Collection

To be able to analyze specific content, you will have to do a couple of steps to collect the data.

Set up Google Analytics

The first step is to ensure that you have Google Analytics set up on your website. This will require you to create a Google Analytics account and add your Google Tag to your website. You can use the Google Analytics tutorial below to set up your Google Analytics account on your website.

Once it is set up, ensure you are receiving data from your website on your Home page or in the Realtime analytics.
